Semaglutide 2mg/pen, box of 1 pen (Ozempic - Novo Nordisk)

Semaglutide (Ozempic) is approved for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. In diabetic patients, treatment with semaglutide (Ozempic) has been shown to improve blood glucose levels. In addition, patients experience weight loss of 10-20% of body weight. Semaglutide (Ozempic) is administered as weekly subcutaneous injections, as compared to Semaglutide (Rybelsus) which is taken orally in tablet form once a day. Semaglutide (Ozempic) is approved by US FDA for treatment of Obesity. Due to high demand there is a worldwide shortage of these medications.
Ozempic 2mg/pen is a starter pen with dosages of 0.25mg or 0.5mg. For maintenance treatment, Ozempic 4mg/pen is recommended
