With age, the skin of the forehead becomes lax and the eyebrows start to droop. Ultherapy is a US FDA approved skin tightening treatment- when used to treat the forehead, can provide a gentle nonsurgical eyebrow lift.
The Ultherapy treatment utilises Microfocused Ultrasound with Visualisation (MFU-V) to deliver focused ultrasonic energy to create areas of localised heating known as Thermal Coagulation Points (TCPs). Existing collagen contracts and new collagen is deposited over the next 1-3 months, resulting in skin tightening and a gentle eyebrow lift.
Ultherapy is a non surgical, no downtime treatment that stimulates the skin to produce it’s own collagen- resulting in a natural and gradual lifting result.
A full face Ultherapy treatment takes 1.5-2 hours. Treatments are recommended every 6-12 months.
There is no downtime and clients can return to normal activity right away
Clients with mild to moderate age related eyebrow drooping will benefit form this treatment. For advanced cases, surgical treatment may be preferable.
