How does Ultherapy Prime work?

Ultherapy Prime is a non-invasive skin tightening and face lifting treatment that uses micro-focused ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen production, leading to natural-looking skin lifting and tightening.

What to expect during an Ultherapy Prime treatment?

Ultherapy Prime is a non-invasive, no-downtime treatment. After the skin is cleansed and photos are taken, a topical anaesthetic is applied for 20-30 minutes. The Ultherapy treatment takes 45-60 minutes, depending on the areas being treated. Clients can resume normal activity right away with no downtime after Ultherapy.

Risks of Ultherapy

Ultherapy is a medical device that needs to be performed by a trained and qualified medical professional, as it has the potential to cause injury if improperly used. Possible risks of Ultherapy include:

Burns and blisters
Hyperpigmentation
Fat atrophy
Nerve injury
Bruising

These risks are rare if performed by an experienced and qualified Ultherapy provider

Comfort during Ultherapy

Ultherapy can be uncomfortable, with most patients rating the pain level between 3-4 out of 10. Patients will receive topical anaesthesia (numbing cream) and oral painkillers. Upon request, Ultherapy patients may receive local anaesthetic injections for nerve block or intravenous mild sedation.

Price of Ultherapy Prime

Announcement: Most clinics which have upgraded their Ultherapy device to Ultherapy Prime have already increased their prices by ~10-20% to reflect the high cost of the Ultherapy Prime. To respect our clients who have already booked their Ultherapy treatment, there will be no price increase from Ultherapy for 2025. There will be a price revision from 2026 onwards.
