7 Treatments Brides Are Getting Before Their Wedding

Share:
7 Aesthetic Treatments that brides are getting before the wedding

Your wedding day is one of the most photographed, most anticipated moments of your life. You’ll be smiling all day, hugging relatives you haven’t seen in years, and standing under bright lights for hours. Of course, you want to look your best, not just for the photos, but for yourself.

At Bay Aesthetic Clinic, many brides come to us with a few simple but personal goals: clear, glowing skin, a sharper jawline, smoother texture, and just feeling more confident in their dresses. We understand—because we’ve seen how skin concerns can trip people’s confidence up. From sudden breakouts before a pre-wedding shoot to pigmentation that won’t fade— it’s all normal, and it’s all manageable with the right treatment plan.

Below, we’ve rounded up our most popular treatments for brides-to-be, designed to help you be camera-ready and say “I do” with the confidence you deserve.

1. HydraFacial–For That Radiant, Makeup-Ready Glow

You’ve locked in your makeup artist, booked your shoot, and maybe even done a hair trial. But if your skin is dehydrated, dull, or clogged, no amount of foundation will sit right.

HydraFacial cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates—all in under 30 minutes. It leaves your skin plump, smooth and luminous—the perfect canvas for makeup. Beloved by Hollywood A-listers, the Hydrafacial treatment utilises the Hydrafacial Syndeo (launched 2023 to replace the Hydrafacial MD Elite!) and proprietary Hydrafacial serums to help you get your skin “red carpet ready”.

Best done: Monthly in the lead-up, and 5-7 days before your actual wedding.

2. PicoSure Laser–For Fading Acne Marks and Pigmentation

Freckles, sun spots or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation can make your complexion look uneven and patchy. If you’ve been layering concealer to hide brown spots or reddish marks, PicoSure may be the answer to your skin concerns.

Supported by over 80 published clinical studies and trusted by hospitals and clinics worldwide, Picosure is a 755nm Alexandrite picolaser that breaks down pigmentation and stimulates collagen renewal, improving texture and skin tone. Nicknamed the “Ferrari of picolasers”, PicoSure Laser needs no introduction and delivers consistent results with minimal downtime. Pigmentation treatment takes time, so start early, ideally 6 months before!

Best done: Monthly treatments, start 4–6 months before the wedding for optimal results.

3. BBL HERO–For a Brighter, More Even Complexion

Planning an outdoor shoot? Or worried about sun spots from beach holidays and pre-wedding stress?

BBL HERO stands for Broad Band Light, High Energy Rapid Output, which uses broadband light energy to reduce pigmentation, redness, and uneven skin tone. It’s suitable for brides with fair skin and visible sun damage, or those dealing with uneven skin tone and dull skin.

Hollywood Celebrity Kim Kardashian is obsessed with BBL HERO treatments, calling it her “Fountain of Youth”, and having witnessed the results, we can see why. 2-3 BBL HERO treatments can give your skin a smooth and glowing look with zero downtime- perfect for busy brides looking to look their best.

Best done: 2–3 months before the wedding for smooth, glowing skin.

4. Botox (Face + Jaw)–For Softened Features and a Sculpted Jawline

Tension in the brows. Lines around the eyes. A clenched jaw from stress. These small things can show up unexpectedly in your photos, especially under studio lighting or HD video.

Botox can help subtly relax overactive muscles, giving your features a more rested, softened and friendlier appearance. Botox for the jaw helps slim down bulky jaw (masseter) muscles, slimming the face for the sought-after “V-shaped Face”.

Botox is not about looking frozen—it’s about looking relaxed, confident, and camera-ready from every angle. At Bay Aesthetics Clinic, we emphasise natural and subtle results, giving conservative doses of Botox injections.

Best done: At least 4–6 weeks before your big day, so the effects can settle naturally.

5. Accutane (Oral Isotretinoin) – For Brides with Persistent, Hormonal Acne

If you’ve tried every cleanser, facial, and serum and still can’t control deep, painful acne, it might be time to consider Accutane. This prescription oral medication reduces oil production, kills acne bacteria, decreases inflammation and can offer long-term acne clearance.

It’s not a quick fix, but for brides struggling with cystic or hormonal acne, it can be life-changing. Appropriate and timely treatment of acne also reduces the formation of permanent and disfiguring acne scars. Due to the potential risks of Accutane, patients will need to undergo blood and urine tests to ensure that they are healthy and not pregnant. Contraception is strictly required when on Accutane due to the risks of birth defects.

Best done: 6–12 months before your wedding under close medical supervision.

6. Acne Steroid Injections – For Emergency Pimple Rescue

Woke up with a painful cystic pimple a week before your ROM or shoot? Don’t panic.

A quick steroid injection can shrink inflamed acne in 24–48 hours, flattening the bump and calming redness fast, without you needing to pick or pop. This is an emergency fix that carries the risk of skin atrophy and hypopigmentation, so it should be used with caution.

Best done: As needed, within 1–2 days of a breakout.

7. Medical Weight Loss–For Feeling Confident in Your Gown (and Photos)

Tried cutting carbs, working out more, drinking detox teas—but the stubborn weight won’t budge?

For brides who feel stuck despite their best efforts, our medical weight loss programme offers a safe, science-backed solution. Using doctor-prescribed GLP-1 medications like Semaglutide (Ozempic) or Tirzepatide (Mounjaro), we help you manage cravings, feel fuller faster, and lose weight sustainably—without extreme crash diets or rebound weight gain.

It’s not about looking “skinny”—it’s about feeling healthy, energetic and strong enough to dance through your big day (and every event leading up to it).

Best done: Sustainable weight loss takes time; you should ideally start weight loss injections 4–6 months before your wedding under close medical supervision.
