Tirzepatide and Ozempic (semaglutide) are once-weekly injectable medications used to manage type 2 diabetes and support weight loss. Both drugs are administered under the skin (subcutaneously) using a prefilled injection pen. Tirzepatide is developed by Eli Lilly, while Semaglutide (Ozempic) is developed by Novo Nordisk.
