At Bay Aesthetics Clinic, we know that subtle changes can make a big difference in your appearance. Restoring volume to the temples and forehead can smooth out age-related hollows and enhance your natural facial features. Our temple and forehead filler treatments are designed to create a refreshed, youthful look that complements your unique proportions.
Why Consider Temple & Forehead Fillers?
Facial harmony plays a crucial role in aesthetics. Volume loss in the temples and forehead due to aging can create a gaunt, hollow and aged appearance. Restoring volume in these areas provides a smoother, fuller and more youthful look.
Temple Fillers: Restore volume to the temples, improving hollow or sunken temples. This also provides a gentle lift to the eyelids and cheeks.
Forehead Fillers: Enhance forehead projection, smooth out forehead irregularities, reduce the appearance of forehead wrinkles and improve facial proportions (“slims down” the face)
Differences Between Female & Male Head Profiles
1. Shape
Female foreheads and temples tend to be rounder and softer.
Male foreheads often have a flatter, more angular structure.
2. Projection
Women typically have a more convex, fuller forehead.
Men tend to have a straighter or subtly sloped forehead.
3. Texture
Smooth foreheads without ridges are often considered more feminine.
Bony ridges across the forehead give a more masculine look.
Male foreheads tend to be broader and flatter, while female foreheads are rounder and convex
Temples and forehead changes with ageing
With the ageing process comes a loss of facial fat and collagen, leading to signs of ageing in the temples and foreheads. The temples lose volume and become hollow and sunken, while the forehead develops forehead lines and becomes flattened. With the loss of structural support from the temples and forehead, the eyebrows, eyelids and cheeks begin to sag.

How Much Filler Is Needed?
The amount of filler required depends on individual facial anatomy and goals:
Temple Fillers: Typically 1-2ml per side
Forehead Fillers: 2-3ml, depending on the degree of hollowness and projection needed
During your consultation, our doctors will assess your facial structure and recommend the appropriate filler type and volume for optimal results.
How Long Do Temple & Forehead Fillers Last?
The longevity of fillers depends on the type used:
HA Fillers: Last 9-12 months
Radiesse: Lasts up to 18 months, with gradual collagen stimulation
Ellanse: Last up to 24 months, with gradual collagen stimulation
Once the filler is absorbed, you can choose to repeat the treatment to maintain the results.
Cost of Temple & Forehead Fillers in Singapore

Risks of Chin and Jawline filler
Vascular occlusion: Vascular occlusion develops when filler is injected into a blood vessel, causing blockage of the blood vessel and tissue necrosis (tissue death). This is a medical emergency and needs to be addressed urgently.
Infection: fillers may become infected and require treatment with antibiotics
Delayed inflammatory response: This condition is a non-infective inflammation of fillers, thought to be immune mediated response to antigens in the filler material. Treatment is with anti-inflammatory medications
Filler migration: fillers may migrate from the original site of injection
Assymmetry, unsatisfactory cosmetic outcome: This can be addressed at follow-up with a touch-up filler treatment
Nodules and lumps: Excess amount of lip filler injected into a single site may result in a nodule or lump
Overfilling, “luohan fish forehead”: Overzealous patients who clinic-hop and do too much forehead filler may develop a “luohan fish” deformity (usually takes 6-8 syringes of filler). Our regular patients don’t get overfilled as we will stop the patients before they go too far. Read this for more information on facial overfilled syndrome.
Note: These risks apply to all filler treatments, temple and forehead fillers are generally regarded as a “low risk” area as compared to nose fillers or lip fillers which are “high risk”.
